WEEK 6 | ||||||
Games will start at 9:30am for the 3-6 seeds and 11:30am for 1,2 and 7,8 seeds. The tournament is single elimination. Each game will be scheduled for 115 minutes, except for the finals, which will play until completion. Games are to 15 (no win-by-two, except for the finals). Teams have one 90-second timeout per half plus one floater. If the game goes into universe (i.e. is tied 14-14), then each team has one timeout remaining, regardless of how many they had, unless it is timecap.
A soft cap will go on at 100 minutes after the start of the round. When you hear the sound for this, finish the point you are playing, add two to the higher score, and play to that score. The soft cap does NOT affect timeouts.
A time cap will go on at 110 minutes after the start of the round. When you hear the sound for this, finish the point you are playing. If the game is not tied, the team with the higher score wins. If it is tied, play one more point and the scoring team wins. Teams do NOT have any timeouts once the time cap is on.
